When Should You Replace Your Tires?

The Lithia Honda in Medford team always wants to help keep our friends and neighbors in Medford, OR safe on the road. To aid in that task, we decided to put together a short guide that will help you decide when you need to replace your vehicle's tires.

One of the most obvious signs of tire damage is cracks and cuts in the sidewall. You will usually be able to notice the issue with a quick glance - no need to study the tire intensely. If you do spot anything untoward, it may be a sign that your tire is starting to develop a leak.

Of course, you can also use the penny test to determine if your tire needs to be replaced. Simply take a penny (with Lincoln's head upside down) and place it between the treads of your tire. If you can still see the top of his head, your tread is too worn down and the tire needs to be replaced.
