We have plenty of impressive minivans available for a test drive here at Lithia Honda in Medford, but none offer the same mind-blowing driving experience as one that made its debut at the SEMA (Specialty Market Equipment Association) Show in Las Vegas last month. One of the Japanese automaker's most popular models was taken to an entirely new level by Bisimoto Engineering. Read on to learn more.
Bisimoto got its hands on the 2014 Honda Odyssey and we can definitely say that we weren't at all prepared for the result. The automotive experts took this family friendly ride and souped it up to produce an exhilarating 1,029 horsepower.
How did they do this? They gave the car a major makeover, from the inside out. Its powertrain got new pistons, a blowoff valve, a Magnafuel 750cc fuel pump, and much more, and its chassis was modified with new wheels. For the exterior, they added a Denmatic design scheme, custom parts from Honda, and RJ powedercoatings, while inside, the Odyssey got new upholstery, among other features.
They renamed the vehicle the "Power-Van," and we're sure that it'll take carpooling and a Saturday full of errands to an entirely new and extremely fun place.
Alas, this powerful minivan won't make it to production lines, but the standard 2014 Odyssey has plenty of power of its own. To learn more about it, get in touch with our Medford, OR based team today, and we'll be happy to schedule a test drive for you and your family.
