You may not realize it, but the Prologue is Honda's second attempt at an EV. And as a second attempt, it's an excellent one. By partnering with General Motors, the new Prologue is equipped with GM's Ulitum battery, giving it some of the best power and range out there. Couple that with abundant tech and safety features, you can see why so many are impressed by this model. Highlights of the Honda Prologue
Equipped in every Prologue model is an 85-kWh battery pack along with a single motor for front-wheel drive or two motors for all-wheel drive. At present, there is no information on the power output of the single-motor models, but we do know that with all-wheel drive, this SUV can produce 288 horsepower and 333 lb.-ft of torque.
In the cabin of the Prologue, drivers will find an 11.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an in-dash navigation system available with Google Maps. There's also an 11.0-inch digital gauge display and a wireless smartphone charging pad as standard. There's even a head-up display that's available, but it's only available on the top-spec Elite trim.
As you're cruising down the road, Honda has ensured your safety inside the Prologue by adding the Honda Sensing bundle to the vehicle. This bundle has features such as automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition.
